Another question

MK was talking about how rookies in a simmed season never get over high 80s or whatever, but Im confused...assuming this is a multi year league, wouldnt the second season be simmed on madden 09, so therefore It all depends on how the rookies do in real life, thats how they will be progessing not through the simmed seasons...correct? or is it all going to be on one Fracnchise and if so then how are we going to draft 08 Rookies next year...I am just a little confused.
Could someone clear this up for me please.

Im guessing this will be dynasty mode, it would be easier that way I think and we wouldnt have to wait like half a year in the offseason and have about half the teams drop out due to boredom

so if we are still going when 09 comes out would we just switch over to 09 keeping our teams, cuz that could get tricky...for example if Ted Ginn does amazing in the simmed league, but does nothing in real life, all of a sudden he could go from a simmed 90+ to a low 80...thats obviously a long time away and this league could be gone by then, but just wondering...

yeh and also if we go into the nxt season for the draft would the 09 drafted players b created or wut?

u can just import a draft class, so getting the 09 rookies wont be a problem.

switching over to 09 would create a lot of problems, sure we could get to use the real rookies but players stats would get messed up and not to mention it wouldnt incorporate the sim league, we've started a whole new league here seperate from the NFL. If one player does great in YML but does terrible in the NFL it wouldnt be fair to only use the his NFL overall since thats not the league we're using here.

so now this will pretty much turn into a fantasy league as well. u have to also pick based on how they will do in real life.

yah, I would rather have the RL NFL have an affect on our players ratings..

if it did affect players ratings though the stats in the YML wouldnt count for anything. We had might as well just be picking a team in the NFL and that teams final record would be our final record if we decide to use the RL NFL stats

I have no problem with it as long as we can draft real rookies but it could be tought b.c they dont come with names

but sox we are talking about the problems when it happens in 09. the rookie's madden rating will be good.

And if you pick a real good sleeper late in the draft, he will never have a chance to be in the league
