I didnt really take a look at this trade. But I think Tory James or Gay should be taken out. James is still a 85+ CB and Gay should be a mid 80's.

A 99 for a low 80 and Gay who will be no higher then 78 ill put money on it so 2 mid 80s and a high 70 for 1 of the 10 99s in this game.

mk this trade is perfectly fair. Your not valueing rookie picks how much theyre actually worth. Nobody considers the 4th pick as a "mid 90", they consider it a potential 95-99 overall

no ive simmed seasons on madden 07 every1 HIGHLY overrates them rookies start off as mid 80s TOPS in a simmed season and they NEVER get over 96 in their career ive had 1 player do it a DT who started every game his whole career and he was a 96 the rest are 88-92 most of the time

yeah, i agree with mksadng

if you start games those players get to be late 90's, Ive had a WR picked 10th overall started off as an 84, played him as my 2nd WR and he became a 93 after 2 seasons (havent simmed any further than that so Im sure he'll get better).

And if we go by your philosophy the future of the NFL will only have players rated 88-90 tops

exactly.

the Browns got unbelievably stacked by having 2 or 3 UNBEARABLY aweful trades go through (one with the Jets and another with the Lions are two I can recall) after that their trades were fine. And thats also because Titans was being a doushe and never denied of the Browns trades.
