| Should there be a system where there is an odd number of council people who vote on if a trade should be passed. For example if there are only 3 council members..it would take 2 yes votes to pass it or 2 no votes to decline and have the two teams rework the trade.

| I say no. It would be a bad idea to change everything, now that we are getting in full swing of this around here. |

| NO. There is no reason to change the whole system. Everything is working just fine. Besides if the trade is even then the trade will go through with no problem with this current system. |

I disagree because right now, two people on the trade council can say yes its even and then another member can say no take this out or add this and it has to get changed.. this will simplify the process because the council will be voting..if they agree to decline the trade, then they can suggest what needs to be added or be taken out..

Admins still have final say. If Yan or I look at a deal, we can unlock it and say re-work it, or simply no deal if the two teams cant come to agreement.

| also with the current system, your basically negotiating with all the GMs when trades should be between the 2 teams...after the trade those on the council can add input and SUGGEST ideas, right now the trade council is not suggesting they are basically reworking the trade, sometimes against the will of the two trading partners | |

| why not yes? you guys say we shouldn't mess with the system there is now? there is really no system...there is tons of trades that are locked and approved and then DC says "whoever approved this pm me", that wouldnt happen in this system, there would be no mysteries of who approved what trade and why...all the Mods would have an equal vote. Right now it just seems unorganized to me...this would put an organized fair system in place...and its not too hard to change. |

| I voted "no", I think the system in place now works very well, I don't want to see it changed. | |

| It works well, but I have an idea:
If 3 non-trade mods have the same opinion on a trade, then it should count for something. I am not pissed at Drew like half the people here are, but I think this is why they get pissed.
Let's say there is a trade... it goes up, both sides agree. I might say its fair, Lebron might say its fair and he wants one more opinion, and then one more person (non trade mod) will say yeah its fine. Then Drew will come and say its not fair and there is an argument.
I think we should do this: It only takes one mod to approve a trade, like usual. But since cancelling trades is a bigger deal, one mod can't cancel a trade alone. They would need another mod to agree to cancel the trade. That way, if everyone else likes it but Drew, it can still happen. |

I also agree completely with the last paragraph.

| Ok. Some of you seem a little confused as I can see. What you all fail and continue not to realize, is Yan and I can step in. You think by voting on this you are gonna be able to say well Trade Mod said its ok. Trade Mods make mistakes to, as do Admin, but if we feel something doesnt look good, then I will say something. Patstown your really funny with the comment you made. So what if I ask whoever to PM about a trade. Whats wrong with it? Nothing, so get over it and find something else to complain about.
I'm personally sick of this crap. You all are fine and dandy when trades are geting approved, but when it doesn't people wanna starting crying and complaing. Grow up seriously. We said there would be more leeway, but you can only expect so much. I am all for letting teams better themseleves, but not at the EXPENSE OF ANOTHER TEAM ONLY GETTING WORSE!
I'm gonna say something when someone offers up a part time player, for a guy that is good and produces.
And whats with this comparison to the NFL and what Roger Godell says about trades? So what if a team makes bad trades. Noway? Because the crap barely happens. You think real NFL teams trade away superstars for craps? NO. So how about following that trend. If people were more thoughtful in what they were trading for, then we wouldn't have a problem. Most of you go by the name of the Players.
Start doing research and maybe trading would be much better.

People should have a mind of their own. It isn't m fault ok. Lucas is on a decline and he lost his starting job. He was giving up to much for a CB that was struglling. |

| All I know is you need a better way to approve trades. I really cant seem to even get trade partners for the older players I want to move. I dont really agree with one mod being able to cancel any trade. You should need 2 at least. |
